We had a great time at the zoo! In class, we have been looking at informational texts, researching and writing about an animal, and learning about the basic needs of living organisms. The students were habitat experts when they went to the educational class provided by the zoo. Look for our nonfiction reports on our Standards Based Bulletin Board and the student clips located outside our classroom!
Jack said his favorite part of the trip was when you all went in the classroom for some hands-on learning! Sounds like you all had a blast and learned a lot. :-)

the feild trip to the zoo was so cool, my favorite part was when we got to see the penguins. It was SO hot, i was so happy when we got back to school in the nice cold air but still sad to leave the zoo.love, isabella
